Phils
Films are recorded using the DVD-R standard. They are cloned from the master
PAL recording for top quality reproduction. Many people in countries that
use the American NTSC standard report that their domestic equipment will replay
Phils Films on DVD perfectly. Their DVD machine performs a conversion from
PAL to their own local TV standard. This feature seems to be especially true
for the cheaper modern DVD players. Please consult your DVD player specification
before buying a film, because Phils Films cannot be held responsible if the
disc will not play on your equipment.
